Would you like to go to a carnival,
I hear they got a Ferris Wheel set up.
Well, it could be a date--I'll pick you up at eight.
Sometimes I don't know if you want me,

It seems I hardly get it right,

Found a box made out of tin,
Stuck a penny in,
And crushed it into something beautiful.
If I'm going way too slow,

Saw a carnie near a truck,
Who's out to test my luck,
Said "Try your hand at winning something real."
Didn't matter what I picked,
'Cuz the game was fixed.
